Why This Resource Exists
Utah provides public access to many government records, but released-person information is split among systems with different jobs. The Summit County Sheriff maintains jail custody and release material. The Utah Department of Corrections provides an offender search for people who remain under state supervision, including many people on parole, while UDC Adult Probation and Parole handles state community supervision. Court dockets can preserve the order or disposition behind a release. Federal prison releases belong in the Bureau of Prisons locator, not the county roster. We bring these routes and request steps together so visitors can identify the right official source.

We cannot confirm a person's custody or release, and we cannot give legal advice.
